THE ROYAL LEGACY OF INNOVATION

CREATED IN LEOPOLIS –
THE CITY OF LEO THE KING

Leo was the first Eastern Slavic ruler to pursue a Western-oriented political and cultural course, which raised his kingdom to the height of its power.

Leo’s eponymous capital city Leopolis (today’s Lviv) became a fusion of architectural and artistic traditions of Central and Eastern Europe with those of Western countries such as Italy and Germany. Throughout its history, Leopolis became a hotbed of creative talents such as Georg Pinsel, Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, and Stanisław Lem.

Today’s Lviv is a vibrant center of art, literature, music, and theatre. Leopolis Jazz Fest is on The Guardian’s list of the best festivals in Europe.

ANTIQVITAS NOVA builds upon the rich heritage of Leopolis while giving it an innovative twist. ANTIQVITAS NOVA is the place where East meets West and legacy meets innovation.
